I have one question? why is it that i am really good at live poker, but online i cannot win anything? i always get bad ebeats and can never make it deep into tournaments? what am i doing wrong?

never trust a computer for gambling. i had this same problem , then came to the conclusion that its rigged. any computer can be hacked or manipulated so i just don’t trust betting with them (slot machines included).

Try playing more aggressively towards the end.

Who is it you are playing live poker against? Is it your friends? The locals at the casino? That makes a big difference there. Believe it or not there are some really good players that play online at the low level tables. If you feel you taking way to many beats, try take control of the pot size and minimize loses, but make sure to get a good value bet after the river if you feel you are ahead. It helps minimize the variance.

Some very good reasoning so far in the answers submitted. Also in online poker alot more hands get played in a short time frame so seeing so many more hands lends to seeing more bad beats quicker. Plus action flops seems to be a norm for online poker sites lending to two or more big hands being in the same pot more often to increase betting and hence increase the rake being taken by the pokerroom boosting profits. Dont think this would be considered rigged games but you have to be very carefull in your style of play always keeping this in mind.
