Where would you recommend for live games?
Saturday, June 27th, 2009I’m looking to head to the US next summer and maybe play in some live tournaments. Thus far I’ve only played online and in home games. I’d like to go to a place where I can stay pretty cheap, and find a good variety of low buy-in (less than $100) games, preferably with a decent number of entrants. I’m into all types of poker (Texas, Omaha, 5/7 card stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, etc.), so places that offer different kinds of poker would be great, but even if they just offer Texas, no problem. Specific places would be great, so not just go to Vegas, but where in Vegas? Which casinos? What hotels are good? Are there any good places outside of Vegas?
