I was in the money on a private tournament and suddenly after 3 hours before break was over I lost connection and cannot even bring up the website.

YES!!!! As a matter of fact, It’s been bad for a couple weeks now, not to mention the hoorible connection speed, lag aand server problems at absolutepoker.com…. Ultimatebet.com hardly ever lags but its tough competition

If you talk about yesterday (Tuesday 13) Yes and right know 9AM (E)( wednesday14) they still working on it, you can play the ring games, but no SG and no tourney.
I understand your frustration, that suck. But there nothing you can do about it. I play between 20 to 50 hours of online poker a week on several site, and trust me I’ve been there too. Full tilt still be one of the best site out there.

Its not only full tilt. Today 14 March 2007 I was logged into Ultimate Bet and couldn’t get back on after I signed up for a freeroll. I then tried both Poker Stars and Full Tilt and they were down as well.
Absolute Poker was working just fine……
