Throwing a benefit for my mom. how do we get donations?
Friday, March 27th, 2009My 45 year old mother recently had her leg amputated due to cancer and the bills are beginning to pile up so we are throwing a benefit party. We have a venue and date but now what? How do I get people to donate items for the raffle? What are some other ideas for raising money? I was thinking poker tournament, and winner splits the pot?
