Starting with Online Poker?
Posted by admin
I am 18 years old in Arizona. I want to play a bit of light online poker (15-20$ if possible), just for fun. I was wondering about the legality of this both because of my age and because of my residence in the US.
I was told Full Tilt is a good place to start, and I can afford the 50$. Is there anything I should know? I have heard there are some do and don’t of depositing money on poker sites, so….. any comments/hints/suggestions/recommendations? Thank you.
My friend said that he was able to put only 15$ on Fulltilt using Paypal….is this possible?
Is it safe to assume that my Debit w/ visa from BoA will not make it through? And I need to go get a gift card?

will that work?

First, you should know that its completely legal.
There are many people playing online from USA.
Second, you cant deposit with normal debit card. You can buy all access prepaid visa gift card cause they dont have gambling filter.
Third, yes fulltilt is the best site, you can find full review and latest bonus code for it at

Pokerstars is also good. I like it better. You can deposit as little as $10.00. Go to pokerstop.com for deposit bonuses.

You can’t use Paypal for online poker in the US. You can use eChecks at Poker Stars as well as a prepaid Visa Card (http://allaccessgift.com is the only card that has worked for me, and you can find a list of places that sells them on the site above). You can also find reviews of top poker sites, bonus codes, and an explanation of poker law in the US at Hope this helps.

I just tried to cash out some money at Full Tilt, just know that it is easy to deposit but harder to withdraw. They try to make you jump through hoops to get the money back
