Is it possible to transfer real money to online poker websites in the UK through debit cards?? Am living in India. My friend living in the UK is gonna fund my online poker account through his debit card in the UK and am gonna play the game in India and he will withdraw the funds through his debit card. Is it possible to fund the account in the UK and play from India for the same Poker account?? Please help me out with which poker websites this will work in the UK. Thanx in advance.

yes, it possible, one condition though: the account must be opened by your friend (with his details). you can’t open that account on your name and the card used for depositing to be on someone else’s name.
another option would be for you to open your regular account at poker without depositing, and ask your friend if he has an account at that poker room to transfer you money from his player account (he can easily deposit money to his account and then transfer to you). I know that for party poker you can do that with not such a big hassle

I highly recommend the transfer option for several reasons not the least of which is that your friend won’t have control of your account. The other one is that the account holder will be in the U.K. and you’re playing from India which may set off some alarms.
