How to play successful online poker- poker stars?

I love to play online poker- I put in about $100 a month to do it.
I am wondering if there are any tricks and hints to get my money out of it- in other words, how should I go about playing poker not just to get my money back, but to MAKE money?
I play pretty conservatively- until I KNOW I have a great hand then I am agressive. I win quite a bit, but it’s enough to make my money back plus maybe $15.
Any hints and tips would be appreciated!

Read strategy and get feedback on your hands from forums like 2+2. Other than that you’re on your own, unless you want to pay for coaching.

Well if you’re getting your money back then you’re ahead of most people. You sound like you have a handle on some of the basics but you need to make sure you’re not playing TOO straightforward. This doesn’t necessarily mean playing more cards but if you play strong when you have it and not when you don’t then you won’t be too hard to figure out especially at higher levels and especially against players who have the make on you with software.
The most important thing though is sitting at the right table at all times and this is the biggest difference by far. You could be playing perfectly at Table A and get nowhere and play less good at Table B where more chumps are seated and do a lot better.
Oh and one more thing, last but certainly not least. The difference these days, more so now that things have tightened up, is getting the edge on your opponents. Right now you’re forced to make some pretty broad guesses against people. I’m going to let you in on a little secret. If you’re making a 15% return, you are already ahead of the curve. It’s time to either move up in your buy-ins or play more often.
I’m a bit confused about one aspect of your post. Why would you rebuy every month if you’re winning?
